Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has conferred the Doctor of Letters Honoris Causa on RPSG Group Chairman Dr Sanjiv Goenka, recognising his contributions and achievements across business, education and institution building.
The honorary degree was bestowed upon Goenka at a special ceremony, marking a significant academic honour. Accepting the recognition, Goenka said he received the honour with a sense of โdeep humility and responsibilityโ and expressed gratitude to KIIT for considering him worthy of the distinction.
Addressing the graduating students at the ceremony, Goenka spoke about the opportunities available to young Indians and encouraged them to approach the next phase of their lives with confidence and ambition.
โTo the students who are passing out, I'd just like to say that you step into an India which is like an India never before, full of opportunities, full of chances,โ Goenka said.
He urged the graduating class to believe in their abilities and remain committed to their aspirations. According to Goenka, the country's changing landscape presents young people with opportunities to pursue their ambitions and build their own paths.
