S.N.K.P. Government College, Neem Ka Thana was established in the year of 1966 which was inaugurated by the Contemporary Chief Minister Mohan Lal Sukhadiya Since then this college is carrying out its significant responsibility of providing quality education. With realization of growing importance of higher education, this institution was upgraded into a Post Graduate College in 1996 with opening the facilities of post graduate teaching in all three departments f Commerce and in Political Science, History, Hindi Literature and Geography in Arts. In 2008-09, post graduate facility in the department of Chemistry was also added to meet the demand of the people of the area. In the same year, department of Geology and in 2011-12 department of Psychology were added to this institution. In terms of infrastructure, this institution is also growing. In 2005-06, eight classrooms were added to the existing building. In 2011-12, facility of girl’s hostel has been added to the college with the help of UGC and a huge multipurpose Hall has been constructed and handed over to the college administration by the members of the family who has credit of constructing the magnificent building of the college.
