About NIT Goa ( National Institute of Technology)

NIT Goa ( National Institute of Technology) Founded in 2010, National Institute of Technology, Goa is one of the 10 new NITs under the supervision of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Mentored by NIT Karnataka, the institute offers B.Tech programs in three fields, namely,  Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The classes for these courses are conducted by the faculty members of Goa Engineering College and NITK. NITG admits 90 students annually for the course and admission is done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in AIEEE.
