About Jabalpur Engineering College

JEC - Jabalpur Engineering College was founded on 7 July, 1947. JEC, Jabalpur was previously known as Government Engineering College or GEC.  The institute happens to be one of the oldest technical institutions in Central India and  also in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. The institute offers B.E degree courses in eight disciplines, nine postgraduate courses and three postgraduate programmes in Applied Sciences and M.C.The college owns a well-equipped Laboratory and Telecommunication Department. This department has always been available in for serving various purposes of the students. The college also owns a good repute for being the first college in India to offer BE degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The college completed 40 years of establishment in 1997 and was announced autonomous in 1998-1999 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The students of Applied Sciences and various engineering disciplines are provided with opportunities and facilities
