About JB Group of Educational Institutions
JB Educational Society is situated on 27.5 acres of land on the main road and established an Engineering College at Yenkapally village, Vikarabad main road, Moinabad Mandal, Hyderabad – 500 075, with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The college started functioning from the academic year 1998-99 in the name of J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology with four branches with a total intake of 240 students. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The present strength in the college is around 4000 students. With Annual Intake of 1050 Students JBIET is having highest intake among all Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
JBIET is acreditated by NBA-AICTE. It has applied for Prestigious NAAC (Given by UGC) acreditation as well. JBIET has already got No Obejection Certificate from Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council to become deemed University and inspection for it by UGC is expected in July 2009
