CET has its roots in the Engineering College Bikaner [ECB] which was set up in 1999. The College laid the foundation of modern engineering education and the use of all engineering practices in the infrastructure development of the country. Judging by the date of establishing year, CET is relatively a new arrival in the arena of technical institutions. It was established in 2007, as an autonomous body of Govt. of Rajasthan, amidst the brown blooms of desert island, Bikaner. It has made its mark by inspiring quality education. Its total intake is 2000 students in 6 branches of Engineering and Management degree

What is N.C.C.

 

N.C.C. stands for "NATIONAL CADET CORE". It is a non-political organisation of national level which works with the aim of unity and discipline, and is related with defence department.

 

About Unit

 

N.C.C. unit has been started since 1976 in Danielson Degree College. N.C.C. is an armed students organisation under defence ministry of India .This company of N.C.C. is working under '24 M.P. BN N.C.C. Chhindwara' whose Commanding officer is Lt.Col. S.N. Parihar. At present there are 300 cadets registered in this company of college.Group headquarter of N.C.C. is in Jabalpur and N.C.C. Directorate is in Bhopal, and main office of Directer General N.C.C. is in New Delhi. Maj. Dr. Rakesh Shrivastava is N.C.C. Officer.

 

 

Session & Working

 

N.C.C. session starts from the month of August. Under N.C.C. training cadets get inspired by unity and discipline, patriotism, armed activities training of weapons, paragliding, trecking etc. Along with these they also get inspired to do social services like adult education, blood donation, leprosy-eradicaton and and so on.                                                                                        

 

 

NSS

Introduction

 

Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year, 1969. Aimed at developing student's personality through community service. NSS, is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage.

The cardinal principle of the NSS programme is that it is organised by the students themselves, and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building.
