Business and management skills are essential for clinical professionals in healthcare today. Whether you are running your own practice, managing others in a clinic, or managing a department or nursing floor, the clinical skills that enabled you to advance to that position do not make up the full range of skills needed to succeed in that position. This certificate program is aimed at giving doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals the basic knowledge and skills needed to manage people and programs efficiently and within the bounds of government regulations.
Each course is designed to be completed within five to seven hours. Medical, nursing, and dental professionals involved in delivering clinical care, who hold or who aspire to administrative or managerial responsibilities can also enroll in this course.
