Frequently asked questions

What is a moratorium?

A break from repayments during your course plus usually 6 – 12 months after. Interest still builds up unless you pay it.

Should I pay interest while studying?

If your family can, paying simple interest during the course stops the loan from growing, and some lenders such as Punjab National Bank offer a rate rebate for it.

Can I repay early?

Most lenders listed here charge nothing for prepayment.
